Process Flow and Timeline for University Enrollment and Obtaining a Student Visa:

1. Research and Apply to Universities (12-18 months before start date):

• Identify programs and universities.
• Prepare and submit applications before deadlines.

2. Acceptance and I-20 Form (Upon acceptance):

• Receive acceptance and obtain Form I-20 from the university.

3. Pay SEVIS Fee (Immediately after receiving I-20):

• Pay the SEVIS I-901 fee online.

4. Visa Application (3-5 months before start date):

• Complete the DS-160 form online.
• Pay the visa application fee.

 5. Schedule and Attend Visa Interview (3-5 months before start date):

• Schedule an interview at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
• Attend the visa interview with all required documents.

 6. Preparation for Departure (After visa approval):

• Plan travel within the visa timeline.

  • Graduate: $20,000 – $40,000 per year

 Green Card and Citizenship:

If conditions are met, successful graduates from universities can obtain a work permit and can later be sponsored for a Green Card and if they meet the residency requirements, they can apply for U.S Citizenship.
